News: BTA Residential Weekend 2024

Another very successful weekend was held at the Oxford Spires Hotel from 12th to 14th April. Four invited speakers presented a wide range of topics: Africa and Islands by James Podger: Small but perfectly formed: the British lamp letter box by Wayne Cox; Thematic ripples by Philip Cant; and Exploring forgeries in your collection by Paul Leonard. There were also four sessions of members' displays, enthusiastically supported by everyone.
Collectors had a chance to search for a bargain with Paula Cant Stamps who brought along stock to browse, and Paul Leonard who brought along stock being sold in aid of Stamp Active.
This was the sixth time the event had been held, and the most successful in terms of numbers attending.Watch this space for the announcement of the next event in 2026.
